FREE SHIPPING TERMS

All gun safe order shipments will be shipped and delivered by a full length tractor trailer (53' length) and all delivery addresses must be accessible by a full length tractor trailer.  All orders will be marked for "Curb Side Delivery with Liftgate". All drivers come equipped with only a pallet jack to assist in moving the safe. If the area leading to your home is found to be unpaved, excessively long, too steep, or just inaccessible these are valid reasons that will prevent the delivery of a safe. In such cases, it may be necessary to pick up the safe from the local distribution center.  Drivers will pull up as close to the curb as possible and under no circumstances will they pull into any driveways.  If a driver for any of the above mention reasons is unable to provide the " Delivery" he will at his own discretion either attempt to move the safe as far as he may go or deliver the safe to the curb. Gun Safes America cannot be held responsible if the freight carrier is unable to provide the "Free Delivery" as advertised. Customers whom refuse to take delivery of their order because the freight carrier is unable to provide " Delivery" will be accessed all shipping charges to and from the address of delivery plus a 15% restocking fee. These fees will be deducted from the original purchase price of the safe prior to refund being issued. Please read additional description of services and exclusions below.

Free Curb Side Delivery includes the driver (1 person) unloading the gun safe from the truck and placing it at the curb. This free delivery service is available in most locations inside the Continental US except certain areas within New York with zip codes beginning in (0 or 9), (100-104) & (110-119). Additional restrictions may apply*. Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska or anywhere outside the Continental US. Please note that this is a delivery service only and does not include the de-palletization, unpackaging, debris removal, or placement of safe once the safe is unloaded. It will be the responsibility of the customer to either move or make arrangements for moving the safe inside the house.

IMPORTANT:  If a driver is unable to access the delivery address with a full length tractor trailer due to narrow streets, tight turns, low hanging branches and/or power lines, weight restrictions, unpaved roads, or address being located on a dead end street, a customer may be required to meet the driver at a secondary location.  Shorter trucks may be available in some areas please contact us so we can check availability. 

Free "Curbside Delivery with Liftgate" is offered to most areas in the contiguous U.S. Some remote areas such as islands, areas accessible only by toll bridge or ferry service, union states, etc. may be subjected to additional fees. If any additional freight charges are applicable, customers will be notified prior to shipping and will be given the option to cancel their order to avoid any additional freight charges.

SHIPPING POLICY

We currently utilize the services of several different carriers/freight companies for all safe shipments but reserve the right to change carriers at any time without notice. Please note that all safe deliveries will be made by a (48 - 53) ft tractor trailer. All tractor trailers will be equipped with a liftgate which allows the driver the ability to unload a safe from the back of the truck so he is therefore able to deliver the safe to the curb. (Please refer to FREE SHIPPING TERMS)** If you are unable to accommodate a delivery via a 48-53 ft tractor trailer please contact a Gun Safes America representative at (888) 496-7233 for other available options. Gun Safes America ships all orders for pistol boxes and safe accessories via FedEx but reserves the right to change carriers at any time without notice. Please note that if one or more safe accessories or pistol box is purchased along with a gun safe then these items may be packaged inside the gun safe and shipped together.

Safe orders are processed Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm CST and all in stock orders will ship from our warehouse within 24 - 48 business hours but may be delayed if special options or specifications are needed. Each customer will receive an email when their order ships, this email will contain the name of the freight carrier and a tracking number for their order. The freight carrier will be instructed to contact you and schedule a delivery appointment when your order arrives at the delivering terminal. All customers must be available to take immediate delivery of their order when contacted by the carrier. Any customer whom is unable to take immediate delivery of their order due to out of town business trip, vacation, or any other reason must contact a Gun Safes America sales associate prior to shipment of their order. Failure to take immediate delivery or notify a Gun Safes America sales associate of your unavailability to accept delivery may result in additional freight charges and /or storage fees. Gun Safes America reserves the right to authorize the return of any freight found undeliverable where the customer, after repeated attempts, is found to be unavailable for contact. Customer will be responsible for all freight charges to and from the attempted delivery address as well as a 15% restocking fee. Customers whom cancel their orders after it has been processed and shipped will be responsible for all freight charges to and from the delivery address. Hours of operation for the carrier are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Delivery appointments are not guaranteed and Gun Safes America cannot be held responsible if the freight carrier is late or misses a scheduled delivery appointment due to unforeseen circumstances.

FREIGHT ACCEPTANCE POLICY & PROCEDURES

All safes must be inspected at time of delivery. When the safe arrives, the driver will promptly hand you a delivery receipt and request a signature for acceptance of the delivery. Please note that when signing this delivery receipt you will be agreeing to the terms and condition set forth by the carrier which clearly states you "received in good condition, except as noted" the safe that is being delivered. Prior to signing the delivery receipt, in a timely manner, please inspect the packaging of the safe for any noticeable signs of damage such as tears in the box(s), heavy friction marks to the box(s), indentions, etc… If there are any signs of visible damage to the packaging please show the driver and further inspect the safe to determine if there are any damages to the safe. Any damages, large or small, must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing. At the time of delivery, it is every customer's right to refuse a safe that has been damage during shipping. Customer's that notice any damages after signing the delivery receipt should contact the carrier immediately, a contact phone number is provided on the delivery receipt, to notify them of the damages. All customers that accept delivery of a safe that has been damaged during shipping and fail to note the damages on the delivery receipt will be responsible for filing their own claim against the carrier. No customer shall discard the pallet and/or packaging material until the safe is fully opened, inspected, and found to be in good operating condition. Customers that do accept delivery of damaged safe and have noted the damages on the delivery receipt are asked to take pictures of the packaging material and safe and send them to customerservice@gunsafesamerica.

 

RETURNS

 

Unsatisfactory returns will be accepted for a period of 14 days from the day the product is received. All products must be returned in the original box with all packaging material, they also must be properly secured for shipping to help prevent any damages while being returned to the warehouse. Customers will be responsible for all shipping fees to the address of delivery and shipping fees back to the warehouse. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Additional fees may be assessed if a product is not returned in the original packaging and/or has been damaged during the return shipment back to the warehouse. All charges will be determined by Gun Safes America but will be fair and considerate to the buyer.
